About Caffetteria Dev
Caffetteria Dev is the one-person studio of Marcelo Silva, an independent game developer from Brazil.
What started as a Computer Engineering graduation project at the University of Campinas (Unicamp), during the early days of the smartphone era (2010), grew into a long-term passion for creating retro-inspired games. Caffetteria Dev was officially founded in 2020 to carry that passion forward. Since the beginning, every game has been built by hand, with the programming, art, and music created from scratch.
Our games embrace the spirit of classic gaming, combining pixel art with carefully crafted mechanics to create nostalgic yet refreshing experiences.
Looking ahead, we are developing Coffee Engine, our own proprietary game engine built from the ground up, embracing the old-school philosophy of building both the games and the technology that powers them.
